Meal Plans

Providence

All students, staff and faculty are welcome to purchase any meal plan!

There are a variety of meal plan options depending on where a student opts to live on campus.

Selecting a plan

Resident Students
You will select your meal plan for the academic year when you select your room, in the housing portal.

Select from a range of meal plan options, with flex dollars, based on the hall you choose.

The cost will be applied to your student account.

Commuter Students
Any meal plan option is available to commuter students. Wildcat Meals are recommended and are available to purchase in blocks.

These are unlike a traditional meal plan as they are valid for the entire academic year.

All meals must be used before the end of the academic year in which they are purchased.

Sunday Starts
Swipes start for the week on Sunday mornings.

Use at all Locations
One meal swipe can be used for a meal combo at all our locations - or entry to our "All You Care to Eat" locations, Snowden and Harbor View.

Meal Plan Options

First Year Students in Traditional Halls

  • All Access Meal Plan
    • Access Snowden or Harbor View (All You Care to Eat Locations) anytime from open to close!
    • 12 Bonus Meals a Week. Use them at any of the seven retail locations! 
    • $200 annual flex dollars 

Returning and Transfer Students in Traditional Halls

  • All Access Meal Plan
  • 14 Meals a week + $400 annual Flex dollars
  • 10 Meals a week + $400 annual Flex dollars

Returning and Transfer Students in Apartment Style Halls

  • All Access Meal Plan
  • 14 Meals a week + $400 annual Flex dollars
  • 10 Meals a week + $400 annual Flex dollars
  • 115 Meals + $150 Flex per semester

*Please note that Residential Students select meal plans through the housing portal.
This link is for non residential students, residential students who reside in a building that does not require meal plans, or any member of the JWU community who would like to purchase extra meals and flex dollars. 

**We are currently in Fall Meal Plan. If you are not enrolled this academic year, you will not be able to purchase any meals or flex. 

Change your Plan

If you are a resident student who want to change the meal plan selection BEFORE the year starts, contact Residential Life.

Flex Dollars

Every plan offers "flex dollars" or cash value.

You can make smaller purchases instead of a full meal swipe (i.e. a coffee at Starbucks).

Flex dollars are loaded onto the your JWU ID card.

The balance will decline as flex dollars are used.

Flex dollars can be used at any JWU dining location.

Flex dollars cannot be carried over from term to term.
