Faculty and Staff who become aware of any student who is making direct or indirect references to suicide, thoughts of hurting others, or who seems to be out-of-touch with reality, should contact Campus Safety & Security immediately at 401-598-1103.
Counseling Services staff is available to consult with faculty and staff who are concerned about the emotional well-being of a student. To request consultation please contact the office at 401-598-1016.
Counseling Services offers a suicide prevention program called: Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR). We would be happy to come to your classroom and provide the 90 minute training.
