Due to Charlotte community events there may be periodic detours in the uptown area. Please be aware as you are traveling to campus and locating parking.
Follow signage directing you to Parking Lot A from South Cedar Street at 235 S Cedar Street for check-in and unloading. After you have unloaded, you will follow directional signs to park at the Cedar Street parking deck located at 116 S. Cedar Street. Large trucks and cars with trailers should park in Lot B located at 709 W. Trade Street (located one block east of the Academic Center.) Further instructions may be provided upon checking in.

Vehicle permit hang tags will be distributed during move-in in the parking deck for all purchased permits. If a student would like to park in the Cedar Street parking deck (Lot D) they will need to purchase a parking permit.

NOTE: All returning residential students MUST check-in at Lot A.
University parking permits are available for commuter students in the Cedar Street parking deck.

We typically only use the online payment portal during the summer due to technical limitations and our renewal process for Winter and Spring terms.
