Mary Moorachian is an instructor for introduction to nutrition and passionate about educating consumers regarding the benefits of increasing a plant focused diet. She is committed to training providers of young children where an early impact can be made on a child's eating behaviors, including, Building Healthy Lifestyles in All Directions, a collaboration with UNC Charlotte, CPCC and Cabarrus County Health Department to impact the reduction of childhood obesity. The training includes the nutrition and culinary education curriculum, Healthy Start: Beginning in the Kitchen, co-developed by Moorachian.
