Jennifer Parisi, CHE
Instructor | Beverage & Dining Services | College of Food Innovation & Technology
Providence Campus
With insider experience gained within the Manhattan luxury hotel and restaurant industry, Jennifer Parisi can translate the intricacies of what differentiates good-to-great service from luxury service. Before joining the faculty of JWU, she held management positions with the New York City flagship location of Jean-Georges Restaurant, the Ritz Carlton Hotel, and Tom Colicchio's 'wichcraft.
At JWU, she teaches Contemporary Service and Restaurant Supervision where students gain an understanding of guest satisfaction. In another course, Essentials of Dining Service, she guides students through the elements of front-of-the house (FOH) operations and professional dining and beverage service techniques. To keep it real – she requires her students to report on and discuss current events as a way to fully understand their relevance within their world.
