Resident Assistant Recruitment & Selection
Resident Assistants (RAs) represent Residential Life as key team members in its day-to-day operations. As an RA, you’ll live in one of our residence halls and assist students with transitioning to campus life. RAs have diverse responsibilities and must be able to balance several multidimensional roles, including active planner, helper, advisor, resource person, administrator, and role model.
Minimum Requirements to Apply for an RA position:
- Current JWU Charlotte student; enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student and in good standing with Student Financial Services
- Maintain and have a minimum 2.75 GPA (cumulative)
- No significant Code of Conduct violations
- Have experience living in on-campus housing

RA Applications for 2025-2026 will open on December 16th.
Interview Dates
TBA- February 2025
RA Selection
Students will be offered RA positions during the week of February 24th.
