Positions

Resident Assistants (RA)

RAs represent Residential Life as key team members in its day-to-day operations. As an RA, you’ll live in one of our residence halls and assist students with the transition to campus life. RAs have diverse responsibilities and must be able to balance several multidimensional roles, including active planner, helper, advisor, resource person, administrator, and role model.

Central Office Student Assistants (SA)

Central Office Student Assistants (SA) are an important part of our Residential Life central office located in the Friedman Center. They are our first contact for most of our students and families who reach out to the office with questions or concerns regarding housing, meal plans, and just general information. SAs are not required to live on campus. We are hiring for the Fall 2024 semester. Please be aware this position works spring break, and some days over winter break.  Work Hours range between 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Front Desk Managers

The Front Desk Manager (FDM) is an administrative student assistant and is integral to the daily operations of the halls. They are primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residence hall front desk, serving as a resource to students, and upholding university policies. FDMs are not required to live on campus. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.

Graduate Assistants

The Graduate Assistant (GA) represents Residential Life as a key leadership member for a residence hall. They are primarily responsible for assisting with the daily operations of a building, including supervising front desk staff and serving as a resource to students. The GA also adjudicates and enforces student policies, serves in an emergency on-call rotation, and is required to live in on-campus housing.
