Dinner for One: Swipe it Forward, food nooks, and more!

Being a college student is tough. Like a baby bird shoved from the nest, you’re expected to attend classes, do homework, figure out tuition, find a job, and somehow feed and take care of yourself like a functioning adult. I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to do it alone!

As costs rise, it can be challenging to ask for help. Students before you may have had to learn the hard way, but you don't have to. There are resources to help you succeed. For introverts, there are no questions asked food support, like the ELISHA Project here in Providence and beyond. Created by JWU alumni in 2011, the EP has provided millions of pounds of food and other goods to various communities.

In addition to food support, JWU offers various off-campus opportunities designed to help students thrive. From job placement services to internships that provide valuable hands-on experience, the university is committed to ensuring that you have the tools and resources necessary to navigate your college journey successfully. Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Not limited to food, the following Providence locations include personal hygiene supplies and household items. Donations are encouraged!
