Chelsea is responsible for delivering external and internal events for John Hancock Investment Management, a company of Manulife Investment Management. Event development includes managing site selection, meeting agendas, marketing materials, budget guidelines, and meeting evaluation analysis. She is responsible for creating comprehensive registration sites and mobile apps for both meetings and conferences.
She collaborates with the national accounts team for sponsored institutional and broker dealer conferences to coordinate all aspects including, sponsor contracting, exhibit booth selection, literature and promotional merchandise, and offsite activations. In 2016, Chelsea also launched the Speakers Network, a request platform for the retail and institutional team to request external speakers.
Chelsea joined the company in 2015 as an associate and quickly climbed the meeting and event management team ladder to become a meeting and event planner in 2016. Prior to John Hancock, she held roles at F-Squared Investments and the InterContinental Hotel Group. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sports entertainment and event management from Johnson and Wales University and currently holds a Certified Meeting Planner license and three Cvent software certifications.
