A 2011 SEEM graduate from Johnson & Wales University-Denver, Jason has had a career full of sport and event experience. Currently the Director of Events & Administration for Total Sports, LLC/The Art of Coaching-Volleyball (AOC), Jason has prided himself in creating and providing the best experiences for others. In his current role, Jason oversees the planning and execution of coaching clinics for volleyball coaches of all levels, and talent ID showcases for high school volleyball athletes. He is currently in the throes of developing a marketing strategy to garner future partners and sponsors for AOC.
Prior to The Art of Coaching, Jason was a Manager, Events & Logistics, for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. In his nearly six years with the USOPC, Jason oversaw hundreds of events ranging from small-scale meet & greets, to overseeing the Team USA Welcome Experience (TUWE); outfitting the entire US delegation with their sponsor apparel and product. Jason started his sport event career at USA Volleyball as a Coordinator, Events. His time at USAV saw him managing, coordinating, and executing national championship tournaments.
In his four years at JWU-Denver, Jason was a member of the men’s volleyball team, helping the team to two national championship tournament appearances. Following JWU, Jason attended Sam Houston State University where he received his Masters in Sports Management while assisting the women’s volleyball program as their graduate assistant coach.
Jason currently lives in Colorado Springs with his husband, Phillip, and their six-year-old son, Camden.
