Jordan Lacey, CMP Senior Specialist of Events and Experiences, North America at Schneider Electric Jordan Lacey has a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. Currently serving as the Senior Specialist of Events at Schneider Electric, Jordan is a proud JWU SEEM alum and has had a unique journey that has shaped her into a versatile and strategic event planner. Jordan's journey in the world of events began with a Bachelor's degree in Sports, Entertainment, and Event Management from Johnson and Wales in 2016. During her time at school, she honed her skills through internships with renowned organizations such as The Big Apple Circus, Beyond The Stars Dance Competition, and YouNow. Recognizing the invaluable role of internships in event education, Jordan embraced hands-on experiences that laid the foundation for her future success.

Post-graduation, Jordan was accepted into Marriott's Voyager program, where she was placed at the iconic Flagship New York Marriott Marquis as an Event Planning and Operations Voyager. This pivotal experience sparked her career in the hospitality industry, leading her to become an Event Manager I at the Marriott New York Downtown. It was during this time that she earned the prestigious Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation, a testament to her commitment to excellence in the field. Eager to expand her horizons, Jordan took a leap of faith and joined J.P. Morgan, where she spent four years in two different roles. Initially serving as a Senior Event Marketer in the investment bank, she focused on tradeshows and roundtables. Her success in this position led to a second role as a Senior Event Marketer on the Marriott Co-brand credit card, where she led events, experiential initiatives, and sponsorships.

Recognizing the importance of continuous learning, Jordan pursued her MBA at Colorado State University, further enhancing her strategic and managerial skills. Jordan will graduate in May 2024 with this degree. Armed with a wealth of experience and her MBA studies, Jordan transitioned into event leadership at Schneider Electric as the Senior Specialist of Events and Experiences for North America. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in shaping event strategy, overseeing tradeshows, managing C-level events, and orchestrating proprietary events. Beyond her professional achievements, Jordan remains actively involved in the event community. She contributes to Meeting Planners International (MPI) New Jersey's Marketing Committee and serves on the Awards and Emerging Leaders Committee for the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) New York.

Outside of her professional commitments, Jordan combines her love for events with a deep commitment to social impact. She founded "Light The Candle," a 501c3 organization dedicated to creating birthday cards for foster children, showcasing her ability to merge her passion for events with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the community. In her free time, Jordan enjoys staying active with pilates, exploring new destinations through travel, and indulging her culinary creativity in the kitchen. Jordan resides in the Hoboken, New Jersey area.
