Paul’s unparalleled relationships with prominent clergy, civil rights leaders, activists, and legislators have made him a sought-after strategist and top advocacy mobilization expert. He has been actively involved in public service in New York for over 15 years working for national and local leaders and has expertise in government affairs, public relations, coalition building, and community outreach.

Paul began his career as a national project manager for Reverend Al Sharpton’s civil rights organization, National Action Network (NAN), where he led local and national partnerships with community leaders. He then served in the NYC Comptroller’s office as Director of Special Events & Projects.

Paul joined the Cuomo Administration in 2018 as Director of African American Affairs for the Governor’s Office, where he developed and maintained strategic relationships with elected officials, community stakeholders, and thought partners and regularly conducted community outreach activities to promote state policies, programming, and resource opportunities to residents.

Paul is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports/Entertainment & Events Management.
