-Here are answers to some FAQs:
- Our main bus stop locations are Gaebe Commons at the main gate, Wildcat Center on Harborside and the front of Harbor View. The Xavier Complex stop is a courtesy drop-off bus stop during academic classes only.
- Delays in service due to traffic, construction, accidents, or weather are posted via JWULINK under group; Wildcat Wheels page.
- Times posted on schedule are when the bus leaves, plan accordingly as drivers are unable to wait. We suggest being at the stop 5-minutes before departure times.
- If traveling for class/labs on opposite campus, allow a minimal 30-minute transport due to delays from traffic in local area at peak commute times.
- Schedules are academically driven and updated in "real-time" via JWULINK and website.
- JWU buses are free to ride, please show your valid JWU ID upon entrance.
- Wish to use a bus/van for a trip? Check under the "Resources" tab in JWULINK on the Wildcat Wheels group page to view our availability and trip request forms.
- Students who would like to reserve Transportation as part of a student club/org for an off-campus event or trip must first submit an Event Registration form found under Forms on the Involvement Network. Upon receipt of the request, Student Engagement will work with the club/org to reserve transportation (JWU bus or van, or Charter bus) on their behalf.
- Special limited schedules will operate during holidays or breaks, unless the university is closed as will be for Thanksgiving Day, and the end of the fall semester into spring semester.
- Inclement weather updates are posted on JWULINK, via Wildcat Wheels Group page, please monitor daily for delays or cancelation of service - especially during the winter season.
- Courtesy weekend shopping bus to the market is only available during Fall or Spring Semester and do not operate on holiday weekends. Limited seating, first come, first serve, times are posted via Gaebe Commons and Harborside Weekend Schedule.

- Students with a valid JWU ID can bring two guests onto our vehicles if over the age of 16 years old and must always remain with the guest during the commute. Guest must have a valid, photo ID for verification.
- Guests under the age of 8 years old or 80lbs., are unable to ride our vehicles due to state laws requirements for safety restraints, we thank you in advance for understanding.
- UPASS is a program offered to students at a discount rate to use the RI Public Transit system called, RIPTA. To purchase the pass, click on https://transportation.jwu.edu/providence-parking/index.html
- No bikes, scooters, skateboards, allowed on vehicles, especially motor operated units - due to fire hazards and safety compliance.
- Moving from one hall to another hall will require Residential Life approval. Please know we only offer a transport; drivers are unable to lift or assist with the move. We do not have any boxes or a hand-truck available. Moves have a thirty-minute limit, so please have friends to assist with loading and unloading of items.
- We do not offer transport to airport, bus, or train.
- Parking passes or parking garage specific information can be found at; https://transportation.jwu.edu/providence-parking/parking.html
- Parking off campus in downtown requires a parking fee - the city has several blue machines on each block that you will need to use. For additional information regarding parking off-campus, please consult the City of Providence website direct.
- Van certification - if you wish to become van certified, please see our "resources" page on JWULINK under the Wildcat Wheels Group. This will direct you on the process and application.

Please know all moves need to have approval from Residential Life, moves are schedule based on availability, to schedule the move please call us direct at 401-598-1156.
-Drivers are unable to lift or assist you during the move so please plan accordingly.
-Student has to be ready with all items packed and at the curb for pick up.
-A 30-minute time limit for the move is required as the vehicle is a bus.
-We do not have any boxes or hand trucks available.
